Frederick H. Sapienza

Frederick H. Sapienza, 89, of Franklin passed way Thursday, January 3, 2019. He was the husband of Sunho (Yu) Sapienza. Frederick was born on July 10th, 1929 in Boston. He was the son of the late Peter and Angelina (Dragone) Sapienza. Frederick was a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War. He was Honorably Discharged after serving in the United States Army for 20 years. Frederick enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Mr. Sapienza worked as a Chef in the food service industry for different restaurants and companies for over 40 years. In addition to his wife of 51 years he is survived by his children Fred Sapienza and his wife Donna of Marlboro, Gina Sapienza of Franklin, Tanya Sapienza of Franklin; two grandchildren Robert and his wife Cynthia and Cristina; two great grandchildren Haley and James. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday January 9, 2019 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in The Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main Street, Franklin, MA. Burial with full Military Honors will follow at a later date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
