Regina Anshewitz

Regina Anshewitz, formerly, Grogan passed away peacefully in the loving embrace of her family on December 11, 2018 in Weymouth, MA, following a brief illness.  Regina was 71 years old.

Regina was born in Boston, Massachusetts to William and Elizabeth Grogan.  She attended school in Boston and married Richard Anshewitz in 1969.  For well over 45 years, Regina and Richie raised their family and made their home in Quincy, Massachusetts.  In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Regina worked as a housekeeping supervisor at Quincy Hospital for a number of years prior to her retirement. Regina loved her family and loved having a good time.  She was a friend to all who knew her and she will be sorely missed.

Regina is preceded in death by her brother, William J. Grogan Jr.

Regina is survived by her husband, Richard Anshewitz; her daughter, Tracey Erskine and her husband Jeffrey; her daughter Tara McDonough and her husband David; her sister Mary Bonanno and her brother, Ralph Grogan and her grandchildren, Ashley and Jarrod Erskine.  Additionally, Regina is survived by many nieces and nephews and all of kids she helped raise in “the old neighborhood” in Quincy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday December 14th from 4pm to 7pm at the Hamel-Lydon Chapel, 650 Hancock Street in Quincy.  Interment will be private.
