Regina Ross Obituary

Ross, Regina “Jeannie” (Rosen) of Quincy.  Jeannie moved from Roxbury to Quincy in 1950.  She retired from Quincy Medical Center after 40 years.  She volunteered at the Quincy Historical Society, enjoyed tending her Garden and enjoyed traveling the world.  Long time, very active member of the Bethany Congregational Church as a Moderator, Women’s union and sang in the choir. 

Devoted wife of 66 years to the late James Ross.  Mother of Robert J. Ross and his wife Joanne of Walpole, John W. Ross and his wife Susan of Onset, Elizabeth J. Ross of JP, Mary L. Chenette and her husband David of Quincy, Nancy J. Cosgrove and her husband Wendell of Quincy, Emily Ross of Quincy and the late William D. Ross.  Loving sister of the late Robert and Herbert Rosen.  Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service Friday at 10 AM in the Bethany Church, 18 Spear St., Quincy. Interment to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.  Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 PM in the Hamel Lydon Chapel, 650 Hancock St., Quincy.  Donations may be made in Jeannie’s name to the Interfaith Social Services, 105 Adams St., Quincy, MA 02169 or City Mission Society, 14 Beacon St., Boston, MA www.citymissionboston.org/give.
