Services postponed due to snow.
Ann Jensen, 94, of Quincy passed away on Thursday February 21, 2019 at the John Adams Healthcare Center following a long illness.
Raised in Quincy Point, Ann was always interested in Quincy events and news. She worked as a bookeeper for Howard Johnson's and later for South Shore Buick. She was very involved with her church and proudly recalled working many "church suppers" to raise funds for the "new" location for the Quincy Point Congregational Church at 444 Washington Street. Ann also enjoyed her church knitting group, making prayer shawls to provide comfort during illness and baby blankets to celebrate and welcome new arrivals! Ann was a long time member and friend of the T.O.P.S. Group of Weymouth, and also greatly enjoyed the camaraderie of her weekday morning "Dunkin Donut" coffee group.
All was the devoted wife of the late Bill Jensen, the love of her life, to whom she was happily married for 52 years. In retirement, Ann and Bill enjoyed traveling, car rides, dining out and tending to their beautiful specialty flower garden.
Ann is survived by her cousin, Diane Stahl of Maryland, good friends, neighbors, and her church family. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jennie Fleming.
