Anita Kutasz of Quincy, Massachusetts passed away on October 15, 2024. Born June 28, 1940, in Boston, Anita had a lifelong love of the arts. She studied at Massachusetts College of Art and taught art in the Randolph public school system, teaching all grade levels over her 30 year career. She enjoyed conveying her passion to her students. Statuesque in appearance with a fashion flair and an ever-present hat, Anita was kindhearted and always willing to help others.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Robert J. A. (Chunky) Kutasz and her parents, George and Anna Novack of Holbrook. She leaves her daughter, Tanya Kutasz, of Quincy and her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Judi Novack, of Spring Hill, Florida along with cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Animals brought Anita joy, and she owned many dogs and cats throughout her lifetime. She spent countless happy days outside in her garden. She made Quincy her home about 50 years ago and always praised the city for its diversity, strong sense of community, and its proximity to nature, especially to the ocean.
Those wishing to honor Anita are asked to send a donation to the Quincy Animal Shelter, the Animal Rescue League of Boston, or any other animal welfare organizations.
