Brayden Douglas Donahue

Brayden Douglas Donahue of Braintree passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2022. He was 18 years old. 

Brayden was born on November 17, 2003 in Weymouth, Massachusetts. He was a recent graduate of Weymouth High School Class of 2022. He was currently preparing to start his career  as an electrician in Local 103, following in the footsteps of his late grandfather, John Leahy. He was so proud of his accomplishments and excited for this next chapter. 

In his short life, Brayden loved so many and was loved by so many more. He made a lasting impression on everyone who was lucky enough to know him. Brayden was happiest when spending time with his brothers and listening to music. He was a talented artist and loved to draw. We will see Brayden everywhere, but especially when we come across his favorite color, red. 

Brayden loved his family deeply. He is survived by his parents, Andrea Leahy Marobella and Jimmy Donahue; his stepfather, Jamie Marobella; his brothers, Adam Donahue and Liam Gerstell who looked up to him so much. He also leaves his beloved grandparents Sandy and Doug O’Brien. 

Please join us in remembering and honoring Brayden on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Hamel-Lydon Chapel 650 Hancock Street Quincy, MA 02170. Doors will open at 10 AM for a time of gathering and viewing followed by a celebration of life service at 12 PM. Burial to follow immediately at Blue Hills Cemetery 700 West St, Braintree, MA 02184.
