Carol Consalvi Obituary

Carol Consalvi, age 78 of Hanson Massachusetts, died on May 22, 2026, surrounded by family.

Carol had fond memories of growing up in Quincy, Massachusetts. She is preceded in death by her parents, Armand and Mae Consalvi and her sister, Vickie Jones. Carol leaves behind 3 siblings; Marcia (Ara) Dedekian, David (Bibis) Consalvi and Richard (Mary) Consalvi, 10 nieces and nephews, 16 great nieces and nephews and many cherished friends.

Carol is remembered for her magnetic energy and smile. Her whole life, people were drawn to her dynamic personality and beauty. Carol was a massuese and took pride in bringing healing to her clients, many of whom became lifelong friends. She found deep fulfillment in helping others and encouraged others to live to the fullest. She had a gift for being present with others during life’s difficult moments.

She was known for her independence, tenaciousness, welcoming nature, enthusiasm, curiosity, spirituality, silliness, willingness to dance at the drop of a hat, and looking like a million bucks on a dime. She created a loving and warm home wherever she lived, whether in Sante Fe, Cape Cod, Virginia, Florida or Hanson, gaining meaningful relationships at every move. She was energized by connecting with strangers turning superficial interactions into deep connections. This love and energy left a lasting impression on anyone she met. Music, good food and drink, thrifting, travel, and her nieces, friends and dogs filled her soul. She was a plethora of meaningful experiences.

“She always had a sparkle and effervescence that could draw you in with a kind of wonder and awe! Always eager to move on to new experiences and adventures.” -Marcia (sister)

Carol was vibrant and healthy until her diagnosis of mesothelioma in August 2025. She grieved knowing she would not live to 98 like her mother but she accepted her fate with grace and strength. Her final resting place will be Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree, MA, to be with her parents. We miss and love you, Auntie. Thank you for teaching us how to live and die.
