We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved father Chung Shue Wong, 86. He passed away peacefully on April 29, 2020 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Massachusetts, USA.

Dad was born on April 22, 1934 in Toishan, China and spent most of his life in Hong Kong.  He studied mechanical engineering at the University of Taiwan and taught at Pui Shing Catholic Secondary School in Hong Kong for over twenty years.  After immigrating to Boston, USA in 1984, he took a job at Tufts Medical Center and worked there until retirement.

Dad was the beloved husband of our mother Clare Wong, with whom they shared 53 loving years of marriage, the devoted father of Nelson Wong, Betty Wong, April Wong, and the cherished grandfather of three grandchildren.

Our father's gentle and generous soul has touched many who have crossed paths with him.  Family, friends, acquaintances and caretakers all appreciated his kind-heartedness.  Dad enjoyed playing basketball, tennis, and was a Tai Chi enthusiast.  His favorite past time was certainly mah-jong with his relatives and close friends, when they also shared lots of laughter and meals.

In light of the current pandemic, funeral sevice will be handled by Hamel-Lydon Chapel & Cremation Service and a private burial will take place on May 6, 2020 at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.  Relatives and friends are welcome to share their memories of our father on this website's Tribute Wall and make donations towards purchasing food for the needy elderly in Northern Thailand. 

Father, you will be dearly missed.

我們敬愛的爸爸 (黄中樞先生)，享年86歲，痛於 2020年4月29日在馬薩諸塞州威慕芙市南岸醫院安詳的離開我們了。

爸爸 1934年4月22日 於廣東省台山出生，後移居香港居住。 曾在台灣大學修讀機械工程科，之後在香港天主教培聖中學任教了二十餘年。 1984年移居美國，服務於波士頓塔夫茨醫療中心至退休。

爸與媽黄陳思華共享了53年充滿愛心的婚姻歲月。 養育了我們三兄妹，黃友賢，黃可賢，黄頌賢，並有三位孫兒。

爸生性純和，平易近人，慷慨大方，樂於助人。 他喜愛打籃球，網球，太極拳，也特別愛好麻雀耍樂。

爸的喪禮會於5月6日由昆西安泰殯儀館安排。 由於疫情影響，一切從簡。 火化後將安葬於布倫特里的藍山公墓 。
