Connie L (Stickel )MacAllister passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024 at the age of 86. Daughter of the late Virginia Rubis of Pa , survived by sister Claudia Datt of Conneaut Lake Pa , brother Charles McDonald Rubis of Smithton,Pa .She is also survived by her loving husband of 66 years Richard H MacAllister, 2 sons one being Mr. & Mrs. Steven H and his wife Tina and their daughter Maria Rose of Carver Massachusetts. Also Richard B. Mac Allister of Scituate, Massachusetts. She was also survived by her sister in law Nancy and Robert MacLean and their children of Antigonish, Nova Scotia , a nephew Robert S MacAllister , of Pembroke, Maine and Elizabeth Stewart of Weymouth and many nieces and nephews. Connie graduated from high school in Fayette City, PA She went to Philadelphia to work as a telephone switchboard operator. Met her partner in life at the YMCA dance. Married on February 22, 1958 and moved to Massachusetts.
While she was working at Sears & Robuck she was raising her two sons , eventually was employed at the Weymouth Town Hall. During that time span of life. There were a few apartment moves and eventually making their home in Scituate, Massachusetts . Connie was an avid novel reader, she liked to do word search puzzles and a dedicated Red Sox fan. Upon retirement, she enjoyed traveling to Venice, Florida camping and the sunshine.It was her desire to be cremated with private services.
