Connie, Laichou, Chang, 70, of Berkeley Heights NJ passed away on October 30, 2020 in Newton, MA surrounded by her husband and 3 children. She was born May 20, 1950, in Kaohsiung Taiwan and was the oldest of 5 children.
Connie, in her youth, was a big sister to her four brothers, and as an adult, a devoted wife to her husband, caring mother to her three children, and wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren. With her family, she traveled and lived in many parts of the world from her place of birth in Taiwan to France, Germany, United States, Panama, and England. Connie was passionate about painting and decorated the house with her own Chinese paintings and impressionist art. Connie was also diligent about investing as she meticulously monitored financial markets to secure a better future for her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Ming-Bo, her daughter Susan and her husband Nakin (Suksawang), her eldest son Chun-Yu and his wife Tina (Banzon) and youngest son Chun-Cheng; grandchildren Alisa (Suksawang), Nevin (Suksawang), and Nora (Chang). In Taiwan, she is also survived by her father, her brothers and their spouses.
A ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 4th for her family and loved ones to send her off in the final chapter of her journey.
