Craig Francis Cunningham

Craig Francis Cunningham passed away Sunday April 23rd, 2023 at the age of 62. He was born in Everett, MA on February 26th, 1961, raised in Chelsea and resided in South Boston and the North Shore for the majority of his life. Craig was always proud of his Irish heritage, embracing and celebrating it throughout his life. He had a passion for his hometown of Boston and of course the Boston sports teams held a special place in his heart. Craig was ever the charismatic soul, the timeless class clown, he loved to make people laugh, to tell jokes, bring out a smile and he continued to bring laughter into this world in his final days. He enjoyed reading, music and history but above all Craig loved his family. Craig leaves behind his daughter Jessica McCord, her husband Michael, and three grandchildren Quinlan, Brogan and Kellan. Craig is survived by his sister Brenda Verrico, her husband Ronald, his brothers Kevin, Keith, Keith’s wife Angela, sister-in-law Cheryl Cunningham, and many loving nieces and nephews. Craig was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Claire Cunningham along with his eldest brother Thomas Cunningham Jr. The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations in Craig’s memory be made to the Michael J. Dias foundation or the American Cancer Society. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends to remember him.
