Diana (Kapshtica) Dauti, of Quincy, passed away Sunday evening September 8th, 2024 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a sudden illness. She was 81.
Diana is survived by her beloved husband Abraham Dauti and her loving daughters Rina Dauti, Adela D’Agostino and her husband Robert, and Iva Dauti and her husband Cameron. Diana’s greatest pride were her daughters and her cherished grandchildren Dennis, Fiona, R.J., and Sophia Diana.
The daughter of the late Ahmet and Haxhire Kapshtica, Diana was born and raised in the village of Kapshtice/Korce Albania.
Diana had been employed for many years as a nurse at the Elbasan Regional Hospital in Albania. After her retirement she joined her daughters in the United States, settling in Quincy.
She was known for helping people with her nursing skills throughout the neighborhood where she lived and would be sought after for her medical advice. Diana enjoyed knitting and loved to cook and was famous for her baklava recipe.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 5-8pm at the Hamel-Lydon Chapel, 650 Hancock Street, Quincy.
