Dieu Truong 張耀華, 62 of Quincy passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on May 24, 2021.
Dieu was born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. His parents passed away when he was young. He was adopted by his fourth uncle and grew up as a part of the family. He had three sisters on his adopted family side. Dieu immigrated to the United States with his adoptive parents and sisters in May of 1980. He went to high school in Charlestown, MA. He then worked hard to save up money to apply for visas for four of his biological siblings, his sister-in-law, and five nieces and nephews to immigrate to the U.S. years later. They all currently reside in Massachusetts. One sister resides in Vietnam.
Dieu was very family-oriented and always enjoyed quality time with his family and relatives. He was a kind and gentle soul. He always cared and put others, especially family members before himself. He was a collector of silver coins and animal figurines, dogs in particular.
He was the beloved husband of Elaine Truong. Devoted father of Gordon Truong and Hogan Truong. Dieu is survived by his adopted mother, many siblings and relatives.
Dieu will be sorely missed by his family, relatives and friends.
