Donna Maria McDaniel, 53, of Quincy, passed away after a brief and courageous battle with cancer on Monday, December 1, 2025.
She was born on May 13, 1972, in Kingston, Jamaica. She was the daughter of Roy Melbourne of Jamaica and the late Rema Parks.
After moving to the United States, Donna spent years working in the food and customer service industry. She was a very caring and compassionate person who often showed her love through cooking delicious meals for others.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Ronald McDaniel of Quincy, her children Alex, Olivia, and Oneka all of Quincy and Stepson Ronald of New York. Two wonderful grandkids, as well as many aunts, uncles, a brother, three sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Though we feel the deep ache of her physical absence, we are comforted by the knowledge that her spirit remains a steady, loving presence that will continue to uplift, encourage and guide us. Let us honor her by living with the same bravery, compassion and warmth she showed us. Her laughter, wisdom, good food and her love will forever be a part of our hearts. Donna may be gone, but she will never be forgotten.
