Duc Ky Nguyen

Duc Ky Nguyen, 62, of Randolph, died December 12, 2024 at Boston Medical Center.

Born in Da Nang, Vietnam April 10, 1962 he was a son of Quyen Ky and Hoa Thi Nguyen. He immigrated to the United States in September, 2022 settling first in San Jacinto, California before moving to Randolph in February, 2023. He formerly worked as a Materials Handler at Boston Scientific in Quincy.

Mr. Nguyen enjoyed playing tennis and was always well versed in current events. He also loved shopping and good food, telling his family about his favorite restaurants like Dagu Rice Noodle in the Wollaston neighborhood of Quincy.

He is survived by his wife, Hai Tran, and his son, John Nguyen. Brother of Ivy Nguyen and her husband Tai of Randolph, and Myle Spaw and her husband Steve of Hinsdale, New Hampshire. Also survived by his large family and his many friends back in Vietnam.

Visiting Hours Friday December 13, 2024 from 6:00-9:00pm at Hamel-Lydon Chapel, 650 Hancock Street, Quincy. Funeral Saturday December 14 from the funeral home beginning at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am in Sacred Heart Church of Divine Mercy Parish, 386 Hancock St, Quincy. Private interment to follow.
