Ellen M. (Banda) Zizzo

Ellen Marie (Banda) Zizzo, 85, died January 20, 2025 in Braintree after a long period of failing health.

Originally from Randolph, Ellen was the youngest of four children born to the late Charles W. and Lillian (O'Brien) Banda.

Ellen will be remembered for her love and loyalty to family, her wit and charm, and her love of animals, especially cats.

Devoted wife of 60 years to Leonard Zizzo who passed away in February 2024. Loving mother of Charles and his wife Ruth of Quincy and Leonard and his wife Erin of Taunton. Proud Nana to Anthony, Sophia, Chloe, and Zachary. Ellen was predeceased by her sisters Caroline, Lillian and Theresa. She is also survived by an extended family including many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours Sunday January 26, 2025 from 3:00-6:00pm at Hamel-Lydon Chapel, 650 Hancock St, Quincy. Funeral Monday January 27 at the funeral home beginning at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
