Fong Yun Yu Deng 鄧于鳳雲

Fong Yun Yu Deng 鄧于鳳雲, 93 of Waltham passed away peacefully at her home on January 25, 2020 with the love and comfort of her family by her side.

Fong Yun was born in Liaoning China and worked as a nurse for the Red Cross in China.

She was the beloved wife of the late Bowen Deng 鄧博文. Loving mother of Danny Deng 鄧昌智 and his wife Candice Deng 禇台華 of California, Judy Wu 鄧碧芬 and her husband Chi Chih Wu 鄔啟志 of Stoughton, Theresa Chen 鄧碧芳 and her husband Edward Chen 程竹風 of Canton and Daniel Deng 鄧昌信 and his wife Cindy Deng 曹媛 of Norwood. She was the cherished grandmother of Amy Deng 鄧愛梅 and husband Eric Liu of Shanghai, Ellen Deng 鄧愛玲 and her husband Ted Wu of California, Anne Wu 鄔秉琦 and husband Peter Chang of California, Peter Wu 鄔秉德 of California, Michael Chen 程嘉偉 and his wife Cristina Chen of Illinois, Ivy Chen 程嘉儀 and her husband Matt Fitzgerald of Canton, Cheryl Deng 鄧雪柔, Kevin Deng 鄧順凱, David Deng 鄧順德 and Sherry Deng 鄧雪蕊 of Norwood. She will also be missed by her great grandchildren Viviann Liu, Madeline Chang, Andrew Max Chang and Savanna Chen.

Family will have a traditional Chinese service for Fong Yun on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 4-7pm at the Hamel-Lydon Chapel & Cremation Service of Massachusetts 安泰殯儀館, 650 Hancock Street, Quincy 02170. Burial will be at Rock Ridge Cemetery in Sharon with a private family service.
