Fran P Clifford

Frances P. “Fran” Clifford, 88, of Quincy, passed away December 19, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Denis and Bridget (O’Brien) Clifford.

Born and raised in Boston, Fran graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School before accepting a position with the former New England Telephone and Telegraph Company, later becoming AT&T, where she worked as a manager until her retirement.

Fran loved to travel and would take cruises to exotic destinations. She enjoyed yoga and tap dancing, and looked forward to meeting up with friends for coffee at Dunkin Donuts regularly.

She was the loving sister of the late Maureen Cleary and her late husband Paul, the late Margaret Lynch and her late husband James, Denis Clifford and his wife Maureen of Canton, and Ann Hendry and her late husband Joseph of Marshfield. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to her memorial service at Hamel-Lydon Chapel, 650 Hancock St, Quincy, on Thursday January 2, 2025 at 12 noon, followed by a procession to Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree, for interment.
