James Edward Michaels, Sr.

James Edward Michaels, Sr., 69, of Quincy, formerly of Boston, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Born November 19, 1955, James was the beloved son of the late William and Ann (McEwen) Michaels. James proudly served in the United States Army.  He enjoyed fishing, drinking beer and playing cards, especially spades.

James is survived by his beloved companion, Deirdre Glynn of Quincy. He was the loving father of Frank Michaels, Amy Michaels, Jessica Michaels, James Michaels, Jr. and the late Jason Michaels. He was the sibling of Marie Smith, Theresa M. Khoury, John Michaels, Carol Michaels and the late David Michaels. James was the grandfather to Hailey Wright, Emily Rigsvee, Madison Freeman, Lilliana Michaels, Valerie Perry, Jaiden Michaels and Lydia Michaels.

Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the Interment in Bourne at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue on Wednesday, October 17, 2025, at 1:15pm.
