Jayne Dimeo

Mrs. Jayne (Mahoney) Dimeo, 81, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY.

A memorial service is scheduled to be conducted at The Hamel-Lydon Chapel and Cremation Service of Massachusetts, 650 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA   on Tuesday May 24,  2022 at 11:00a.m. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.

Jayne Dimeo was born on December 21, 1940, in Quincy Massachusetts to the late Edward Mahoney and the late Jean Templeman Mahoney. Jayne was also preceded in death by her husband of twenty-six years, Fred B. Dimeo.

She is survived by her son, David Dimeo of Bowling Green, KY; her grandchildren, Michael Dimeo and Christine Dimeo of Bowling Green, KY; one brother, Edward D. Mahoney (Patricia) of Plymouth, MA; and two nephews, Jason and Michael Mahoney of Whitman, MA.

Jayne was a member at Quincy Point Congregational Church in Quincy, MA. She was a librarian while living in Quincy and also an accountant for many years for several businesses. She was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting and loved listening to country music. Jayne also loved to travel, especially to Florida to Disney World, and to Hawaii.
