John J. Whelan

John J.Whelan, 64, of Quincy passed peacefully on June 18, 2022. Born February 24, 1958 in Boston to the late Daniel S. Whelan Sr. and Lillian F. (Hampston).

John leaves behind his daughter Jennifer Whelan of New Hampshire. He is survived by his siblings Karen F. Whelan of Quincy and Vincent P. Whelan of Quincy. John also leaves behind his granddaughters Michaela and Erin Trinity of New Hampshire. He is preceded in death by the late Daniel S. Whelan Jr., James M. Whelan, and Kevin F. Whelan Sr.

John spent most of his life working as an electrician and comes from a family of electricians. He also worked for the City of Quincy in the Elections Department for the last 4 years.

He will be missed dearly by family and friends.
