Johnson Kwok Keung Low 劉國强, 73, of Quincy, died peacefully on the afternoon of Monday, August 11, 2025 surrounded by the love, comfort and care of his family following a short illness. He was the devoted husband of 49 years to Lai Fong (Kwan) Low.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, he was the son of the late Yiu Tong Low and Yao Yung Yip. He immigrated to the United States in 1972.

In 1976 he married the love of his life, Lai Fong in Hong Kong and started their family, settling in Quincy.

Johnson was a respected member of the community and was long active in fraternal and civic associations in and around Boston's Chinatown including Chinatown Lions Club and Chinatown Freemasons. He was a talented chef in area restaurants by trade, and enjoyed cooking at home as well; especially making lobster dishes or enjoying his favorite dim sum, shrimp dumplings or “hargow”. Those who knew him best will remember him as a loving, quiet, easy-going and hard-working man who was extremely devoted to his family.  They will long miss his silly jokes and warm demeanor.

In addition to his wife, Lai Fong, he is survived by his son Wilson Low, daughter-in-law Cathy, daughter Joanne Kayden and son-in-law Rueben, all of Quincy. Cherished grandfather of Katelyn, Preston, Charlotte, Elisa and Miles.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend his visitation Friday, August 15, 2025 from 9:00-10:30am at the Hamel-Lydon Chapel 安泰殯儀館, 650 Hancock Street, Quincy, with the casket closing ceremony beginning at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Central Cemetery, 327 North Street, Randolph.
