Joseph Cristiani, Jr. Obituary

 

Joseph A. Cristiani, Jr., 65, of Quincy, died unexpectedly March 15, 2026. He was a loving son of the late Joseph A. and Marjory (Scott) Cristiani.

Born in Dorchester, he was raised in Quincy and attended Quincy schools. 

Joseph loved all the New England sports teams; especially the Boston Bruins with whom he was a long-time season ticket holder. He enjoyed traveling greatly, especially the many fun-filled trips he took over the years to Jamaica with his brother and his friends. He enjoyed good food and music and worked as a chef in many Quincy restaurants over the years. He also worked as a cook at the former Quincy City Hospital and as a custodian at North Quincy High School.

He was a member of the Sons of Italy, Quincy and the Savin Hill Yacht Club.

He was the loving father of Joseph and Brianna Cristiani. Dear brother of Ann Moscato, Michael Cristiani, Anthony Cristiani, and Marjory Botsch. Loved by his nieces and nephews; Angelina, Maria, Joseph, Nicholas, Michael, Andrea, Maggie, and Lilliana. He is also survived by many cherished cousins, extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend his visitation in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 237 Sea Street, Quincy on Tuesday April 21, 2026, beginning at 10:00am. His Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:00am with Father Martin Dzengeleski, Pastor of Holy Trinity Parish, officiating. Entombment in the Cristiani family mausoleum to follow at Saint Michael Cemetery, Boston.
