Judy Lim 敖宝仲, age 79, of Quincy, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
Born in Hoiping, Guangdong, China, Judy was the beloved daughter of Ting Ngo and Mi Ha Chow. After immigrating to the United States, she made her home in Quincy, where she built a life rooted in dedication, resilience, and quiet strength. Judy was employed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, where she carried out her work with diligence and professionalism.
Beyond her professional life, Judy was a talented tailor and gifted seamstress. With remarkable skill and patience, she created and altered garments with precision and care.
Judy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Chung Por Lim. She is survived by her three brothers, four sisters, many loving nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her steadfast presence, kindness, and the meaningful relationships she nurtured throughout her life.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 9:30am to 11:00am at Hamel-Lydon Chapel 安泰殯儀館, 650 Hancock Street, Quincy. Funeral program will begin at 11:00am, followed by a casket closing ceremony at 11:30am. A procession will follow to Forest Hills Crematory, 171 Walk Hill Street, Boston.
