Kathleen M. (Thorley) Hennebury

Kathleen M. (Thorley) Hennebury, a life-long Quincy resident, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2025.  Born June 1, 1954, Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Charles E. and Catherine T. (Lane) Thorley, her sister Margaret C. (Peggy) Jenner-Beckward and her brother Charles E. Thorley. She was the loving and devoted wife of 39 years to “The Love of Her Life”, Daniel Hennebury, loving mother to Justin Burnhauser of Lufkin, Texas and Amy (Hennebury) Murphy and her husband David of Braintree, MA.  Cherished grandmother of Owen and Lillie Burnhauser of Lufkin, TX and Emma and Joseph Bosse of Braintree, MA.

Kathy was born and raised in Quincy, graduating from Quincy High School in 1972. She spent her life working in retail and caring for her family. Her happiest days were spent at home in Adams Shore in the company of family, friends and her sweet cat “Johnnie Boy”.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services and Celebration of life will be private.
