Kenneth Daniel Santos

Kenneth (Kenny) Santos, 59, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Kenneth was born the youngest of two children to Joseph and Therese Santos in Taunton, MA on January 11, 1964. He worked in the design business as a shoe designer for thirty three years. He had a passion for designing.

In 2001, He met his wife, Chaoying Yang, at Bass shoe company in Taiwan office. They married on January 7, 2006 surrounded by friends and family. In 2007, Kenneth had their first child, Arthur. 3 years later, they welcomed their second child, Vincent “Vinny”, into the world. He worked hard to make sure they were taken care of and felt loved every day.

Kenneth wore many titles: husband, dad, brother, son and friend. He loved his dogs Taffy and Pompom. He spoiled them and said they were important to his life. 

Ken’s technical footwear talents led him to become the lead designer for the #1 brand of bowling shoes in the world, Dexter Bowling Shoes. As well, Ken also designed shoes for one of the top nursing shoe brands in the US called “Nurse Mates”.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Joseph, and beloved pets.

He is survived by his wife, Chaoying Yang-Santos, his children Arthur Santos, Vincent Santos, his mother Therese and sister Sally.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 1:00-2:00pm at Hamel-Lydon Chapel, 650 Hancock Street, Quincy for close friends and relatives.
