Lillian Mary Dong

Lillian Dong, 85, of Merrimack, N.H., died peacefully Sunday, August 8, 2021.

She was born and raised in Dorchester, where she graduated in 1956 from Monsignor Ryan Memorial High School. Lillian was an import operator in the aerospace defense division of RCA. She and her late husband Bill lived happily for 60 years in New Hampshire, where they found community through regular attendance at Sunday Mass and at the local senior center. More than anything, Lillian and Bill were known for their passion for bowling, frequently traveling to compete in tournaments. Lillian also enjoyed joining Bill for rides on his motorcycle, as well as snowmobiling and dining out together.

Lillian is survived by her brother Leonard Lee of Hyannis; sisters Joan Seeto of Quincy, Ida Keough of Sandwich, and Mae Yip of California; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Marie Gee.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Prayer Service on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 10:30am-11:00am at Hamel-Lydon Chapel, 650 Hancock Street in Quincy. Funeral procession will follow with a Graveside Service and Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery in Boston.
