Linda LaJeunesse Obituary

Linda Carol LaJeunesse

Age 64, of Northborough, MA passed away peacefully November 3, 2020 after a long illness.  Born May 6, 1956 in Mystic Connecticut, Linda was the daughter of Zephir and Florence LeBlanc who predeceased her.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph LaJeunesse of Northborough Massachusetts, daughters, Lea Askren of Clinton Massachusetts and Heather LaJeunesse of Northborough Massachusetts and her four grandchildren Ava, Ella, Drew Askren and Christian LaJeunesse.  She also leaves her sisters Nora Cormier of Moncton, New Brunswick Canada, Sandy Williams and her husband Eddie of Greenfield Ohio and her brother Raymond LeBlanc and his wife Jeign of Wisconsin as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

Linda grew up in Marlborough MA attending Marlborough middle and high school.  She married her childhood sweetheart Joseph LaJeunesse, in October of 1979.

For many years Linda worked at Digital Equipment Corporation.  She transitioned out of the corporate world as children arrived and became her focus and priority.  As the years past she return to work focusing on accounting both in residential and commercial real estate.

Anyone having the pleasure of knowing Linda knew her to be a kind loving soul that was always cheery and friendly.

She loved to travel and explore, catching the travel bug early in life, traveling much of the country as well as Mexico and Europe.  She loved nature and always found beauty in her surroundings.

Linda loved her sweets almost as much as she loved her grandchildren.  She felt fruit did not belong on a dessert table!

Always known as a bargain hunter she never made a purchase without a coupon or discount.  Black Friday sales were where she was truly in her environment.

She was always up for a good practical joke and was the queen of April Fools pranks.

She loved her family unconditionally and had many lifelong friends. While she will be greatly missed by her family and friends, Linda will remain in our hearts forever.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions a memorial service will be held at a future date.
