Manuel “Manny” Peter Medeiros, 91, of Dorchester formerly of Mansfield passed away peacefully at Standish Village, Boston on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Manny was raised and educated in Mansfield. After graduating from high school Manny enlisted in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. After receiving an honorable discharge Manny went to work as a chocolatier for the Nabisco Confectionary company in Mansfield. Until his retirement he was employed as a superintendent. Manny was an avid cribbage player.
Manny is survived by his son Michael Medeiros of Warwick Rhode Island and his daughter Maureen Medeiros of Pembroke. He is the brother of Antonio Medeiros of Middleboro. Manny is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at the Hamel-Lydon Chapel 650 Hancock Street Quincy on Saturday January 10th, 2026, from 8:00am-10:00am Relatives are invited. Burial will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Memorial Donations in Manny’s memory may be sent to the American Heart Association, or to the Veterans Administration.
