Marc Vierbickas Obituary

Marc Paul Vierbickas, 52, of Norton, Massachusetts, passed away on March 10, 2026, after a brief illness. Born on August 16, 1973, in Quincy, Massachusetts, Marc lived a life defined by passion, generosity, and a deep love for those around him.

Marc was a gifted chef whose culinary talents left an indelible mark on the restaurant industry. He served as Executive Chef and, most recently, as General Manager at Siros at Marina Bay and Port 305. His dedication to his craft, along with his natural ability to mentor and inspire others, made him a respected leader among colleagues and a cherished presence in every kitchen he led.

Marc is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Vierbickas, and their son, Brett Vierbickas, of Norton, Massachusetts. To his wife, Marc was her soulmate, protector, best friend, and confidant—the light of her life, whose presence changed her world in ways words cannot fully capture. Through him, she came to understand what love truly is. He brought joy and laughter into her life and made her feel seen, valued, respected, beautiful, and unstoppable. He also leaves behind his aunt, Kristie Henriksen, and her daughter, Sydney, of Quincy; his uncle, Bruce Henriksen, and aunt, Dorothy, of Marshfield, along with their children, Danielle, Justin, and Alexa; and his aunt, Rita Ougoorlian, and her husband, Richard, of Quincy, with her daughters, Christine and Lisa.

Marc was predeceased by his mother, Karen Vierbickas (née Henriksen), whose memory he carried with him throughout his life, as well as his in-laws, Lucianne and Richard Bracchi, who adored him and welcomed him as their own.

Those who knew Marc will remember him as a deeply loving and caring individual with a larger-than-life personality. He was an incredibly devoted father, a dedicated family man, and an extraordinary human being. His humor could brighten any room, and his kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with people and make them feel welcomed and appreciated. The world feels emptier without him, but all who knew him are better for having shared in his remarkable life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in honor of Marc’s generous spirit. Please contact his family for information regarding a celebration of his life.

May Marc’s memory bring comfort to those who loved him and inspire acts of kindness in his name.
