Mathew James Long, age 40, of Kittery Maine passed away on April 22,2023 surrounded by loved ones.

Mat grew up in the town of Weymouth, MA, and attended Weymouth schools. As a child Mathew enjoyed playing different sports but baseball was his favorite and he became an exceptional pitcher. He would spend every free moment with his kids whether he was coaching baseball or watching them learn to ride a bike. They were his joy in life. When Mat wasn't with his children he enjoyed working as a baker for the last 10 years at When Pigs Fly bakery. In addition to his cherished children, Mathew Jr, Bella & Naomi, Mathew is predeceased by his dad "Pops" Richard Crehan, survived by his mother Lynne Crehan, his sisters Brooke Long and Keryn Long, brothers Richard Crehan and David Crehan, as well as James and Donna Long, the late Jamie Long, Taylor, Brittany and Kortni Long.
