Mei Fang "Sandy" Liang 梁梅芳

梁梅芳，Sandy Liang，享年 58 歲，麻州奧斯頓和昆西的居民。她在家人與朋友的陪伴之下，勇敢地與癌症作鬥爭，於 2023 年 5 月 4 日星期四晚於塔夫茨醫學中心在主耶穌的手中平安地回到天家。

梁梅芳於 1965 年出生於中國廣州，父親為梁德勝，母親為張翠嬌。年僅六歲時，她便被招募至中國國家奧林匹克體操隊。她參加了多項不同的比賽並贏取了各樣獎項，獲得的冠軍和其他獎牌不計其數。於 1977-1987 年間，梁梅芳在廣東運動員學校主攻體育雜技，並於1991年在廣東運動員大學主修體育教育。

2003 年，為了能更親近地與家人相處，梁梅芳移民美國。在 Victoria Optical 的六年和在塔夫茨健康計劃的十三年工作當中，她為了自己能夠在此期間能夠幫助不同的人感到非常自豪。

梁梅芳是一個非常美麗和快樂的人，她那樂天的性格總能帶給身邊的人快樂。她喜歡與親人一起旅行，看著她的侄子姪女們畢業並成家立業，和家人們分享許多美好的回憶。

梁梅芳的伴侶 Moon Wah [Jimmy] Chim，母親張翠嬌，姐妹梁美芳和她的丈夫鄭雄，他們的妹妹 Lifang Ta 和她的丈夫 Louie，以及弟弟梁漢華均幸存。她還有幾個侄子 Sammy 和 John，姪女 Shirley 和 Mechell，以及其他親戚。

Mei Fang “Sandy” Liang 梁梅芳, age 58 of Allston and Quincy, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on the evening of Thursday, May 4, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends at Tufts Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. 

Born 1965 in Guangzhou, China to 梁德勝 and 張翠嬌 “Cui Jiao Zhang”. Mei Fang was recruited at the age of 6 years old to the Chinese National Olympic Gymnastics team and competed in multiple competitions. She won several awards, championships and medals. Mei Fang attended Guangdong Athlete School from 1977-1987, focused on sports acrobatics and graduated Guangdong Athlete University in 1991 and majored in physical education. 

In 2000, Mei Fang immigrated to the United States to be closer to family. She worked at Victoria Optical in Boston of which she was immensely proud of. She spent the last 13 years with Tufts Health Plan where she loved helping people. 

Mei Fang was a very beautiful and joyful person who would light up the room. She loved making people happy and laugh with her cheerful personality. She enjoyed traveling with her loved ones and shared many beautiful memories as she watched her nieces and nephews graduate college and grow their family.

Mei Fang Liang is survived by her partner of 13 years, Moon Wah “Jimmy” Chim, mother, Cui Jiao Zhang, sisters, Mei Fang Liang and her husband Xiong Zheng and Lifang Ta and her husband Louie, and brother, Hua Hua Liang. She is also survived by several nephews, Sammy and John, nieces, Shirley and Mechell, and extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visiting Hours for Mei Fang "Sandy" Liang 梁梅芳 on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 9:00-11:30am at Hamel-Lydon Chapel 安泰殯儀館, 650 Hancock Street, Quincy. A procession will leave the funeral home at 12:00pm on a route to Boston before interment at Central Cemetery, 327 North Street, Randolph.
