Michael James Tempesta

Michael James Tempesta, lovingly known as “Mike”, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton on Friday, February 21st, 2025, at the age of 72. Mike was born on June 16, 1952, in Boston MA. He was known for his sense of humor, storytelling, listening to music, singing and his love of his family.

Mike is survived by his son, Michael Robert Tempesta and his wife Colleen Tempesta, as well as his many brothers and sisters, including Dorothy Czyzowski, Gail Pollock, Philip Tempesta, Kathleen Tempesta, Marie Tempesta-Boyd, and the late Donna Clements. Mike loved and deeply missed his late parents, Norma and Philip Tempesta. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Luke Tempesta and Matthew Tempesta as well as many cousins, nieces and
nephews.

Mike was originally from Dorchester but also lived in South Boston, Quincy, and Scituate.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Aspire Health Alliance Philanthropy,1501 Washington St. Braintree, MA 02184 in Mike’s honor. The family deeply appreciates the support and love received during this time.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. The family will share details when available.
