Milton Byrd, Jr.

Milton Byrd Jr., 81, of Frederick, Maryland, peacefully passed from this life on Friday, January 17, 2020 at his home. He was the devoted husband of Joann Byrd for 60 years, who predeceased him on September 13, 2019.

Milton leaves behind to honor his memory three sons, Terrence (Lamont) Byrd, Milton Byrd III, and Robert Byrd; two daughters, Renee (Byrd) Crawford and Chauntay Byrd. He will pass on a spirit of diligence, family and responsibility to eight grandchildren (Aaron, Ananiah, Jaeshaun, Jayda, Mariko, Porscha, Rahjane, and Shernita) five great-grandchildren (Aliya, Israel, Jamarra, Leira and Taniya), a son and a daughter-in-law, countless nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers.

Milton was predeceased by three sisters; Evelyn, Sarah and Betty Jean, two brothers Charles and David. His three remaining sisters to cherish his memory are Mary Byrd-Schwartz, Ruth Byrd and Peggy Byrd all of Raleigh, NC.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service Saturday, Februrary 01 at 11am at Bethlehem Healing Temple Church, 428 Blue Hill Avenue, in Boston. Interment to follow at a later date.
