Nancy Mary Long

Nancy Mary Long, 72, of West Yarmouth passed away at the Cape Cod Hospital in Barnstable on Friday May 9, 2025.

Nancy was employed at several nursing homes working in the kitchen and laundry departments. She loved spending time with her daughter and her grandchildren at the beach and camping. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her scratch tickets especially when she hit big.

Nancy was the daughter of the late Charles Long and Stella (Arsenault) Fosdick. She is survived by her loving daughter Tara Renee Long and her partner Marcelino of Hyannis. She is the devoted Grandmother of Donald Frye Jr., Mariah Frye, Jayden Long and Janae Linares.

Great Grandmother of Kyleigha Fay, Laniyah Tillman and Malaya Edwards-Long.

Nancy is also survived by her life partner Phil Waterfield.  She also leaves behind her brother Edward Long and her sister Betty Costa. She was the sister of the late Charlie Long. She is also survived by her foster son Earl Cash.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside service on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 11am at the Swan Lake Cemetery, located on Depot St., Dennis Port, MA.
