Natasha Kellici Obituary

Natasha Dulaku Kellici passed on Monday October 21, 2019. Natasha was
a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mom, aunt, friend, and a fantastic
grandmother. She was a very loving, loyal and extremely generous
person - at times to her own detriment. This with her strong spirit,
work ethic, smarts, and compassion made her a role model to many for
how to live a life of happiness. Her loss will forever be felt by all
those who were lucky enough to know her.

Natasha was a natural born leader who would lead from the front. You
could always count on her willingness and ability to problem-solve. If
she couldn’t find a solution, it’s because it didn’t exist. You could
always count on her being a confidant and a person you could turn to
for advice. Her wisdom, empathy and understanding of others is
unmatched.

She loved to cook and make food from scratch -  rolling phyllo for
days because it was better that way. She took joy in seeing the smiles
she helped to create - picking out just the right outfit for someone’s
child and making people feel like they mattered were some of her
favorite things to do.

She was the light of the party. Though never intentionally, she would
take control of a room with her elegance and great sense of humor. Her
sense of humor and quick wit kept her family and friends going when
fear got the best of them. She loved to make people laugh, and could
tell a dirty joke better than anyone.

For most people, fifty is a time to start taking it easy, perhaps
indulge a little and look forward to retirement. At 50 and 62, Natasha
and her husband Skifter left behind successful careers as journalists
for the National Radio/Television of Albania so their son could have a
better life. The first few years were very hard, but Natasha
gracefully navigated the stress of learning a new language, adapting
to a new culture and a completely different line of work. She formed
very deep bonds with everyone she met. People could always see the
gentle soul and worldly woman behind the occasionally broken English.

Natasha is survived by her husband Skifter Kellici, son Maldi Kellici
and his wife Sarah Kellici, grandson Skyler Kellici, brothers Dhimiter
Dulaku and Gjergji Dulaku, sister Xhuljeta Dulaku, niece Laura Elezi,
and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
