Norma Klobucher of Peabody, Massachusetts passed away on July 17, 2026 at the age of 93 surrounded by the love of her family. She was the daughter of Norman and Sadie Jones and the devoted wife of 46 years to Frank K. Klobucher until his death in 2002.
At an early age, her family moved from Bellingham to Hopedale, where she attended school and excelled academically. She was the valedictorian of her class when she graduated from Hopedale High School and was all set to attend Massachusetts State College (now known as the University of Massachusetts at Amherst) to study medical technology when her father passed away unexpectedly, altering her plans. Instead, she earned a degree in accounting at Burdett College in Boston, where she was the only woman in all of her classes. Following graduation, she worked at American Mutual Insurance Company in Boston until marrying the love of her life, Frank, and becoming the bookkeeper for their successful auto repair business in Norwood.
Norma was the best mother, grandmother and great-grandmother in the world. She was the loving sister of the late Greta Buttimer and the late Frederick Jones. She was the mother of the late Frank N. Klobucher and is survived by her son, John Klobucher and his wife Diane Soo Hoo of Framingham, her daughter, Holly Addonizio and her husband Salvatore Addonizio of Lynnfield, four grandchildren, Matteo Addonizio and his wife Lina Cangrejo, Marco Addonizio and his wife Debora Magalhaes, Sam Klobucher, Mia Klobucher and her partner, Evan Eck, and three great-grandchildren, Niccolo, Alessia, and Yara Addonizio. She is also survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Celebration of Life is being planned and the date will be announced.
