Patrick E. McKenna Jr.

Patrick E McKenna Jr, 88 years old, passed away peacefully at the Blaire House in Milford Ma. on January 21st with his family close by.

   Patrick attended high school and college in the Boston area. He served in the Army as a young man before he married and had 4 sons. He worked for and retired from the US Postal Service. He also enjoyed refereeing many different sports over the years. When his kids were young, he had a big part in bringing youth hockey and soccer to the town of Bellingham, where he resided with his family. Patrick was an avid reader of crime stories. He also enjoyed running and spending time with his family.

  Patrick leaves behind his 4 sons, Ed McKenna and his wife Tammy, Mike McKenna and his wife Becky, Steve McKenna and his wife Sharon and Paul McKenna. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, Pat McKenna, Ryan McKenna, Kyle McKenna, Megan McKenna, Hannah Chase, Cameron McKenna, Andrew Morton, Richie Morton and 3 great grandchildren, Mason Chace, Rylee Chace and Camron Morton. He also leaves behind a brother, Dennis McKenna and predeceased siblings, Jim McKenna, Dorothy Veilleux and Janet Tambascio-Fraher.  He is also preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Dorothy McKenna.

   Patrick will be honored at a private family ceremony with his children and grandchildren at the Bourne National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of sending flowers his family asks that a donation be made to the American Diabetes Association.
