Peter C. Melvin

Peter C. Melvin of Quincy, formerly of Sharon and Canton passed away January 28, 2025.  Father of Thomas of Canton, John of  Berkley and Peter Melvin of Wrenthem.  Peter adored his sons.                 .

Loving brother of Janet Coughlin of Quincy.  Grandfather of Kristina, Vanessa, June, Sarah, Amanda, Brittany, Adam and Jacob.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Cherished friend of Ruth Brayton. 

Peter attended the Quincy Public Schools.  His passion was running and was an avid marathon runner.  He attended Annapolis US Naval academy and was a Veteran of the US Navy.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass Saturday February 15, 2025 at 11 AM  in Our Lady of Good Council Church, 237 Sea St., Quincy.  Visiting hours prior in the Church from 10-11 AM.  Burial Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.  For more information and online condolences please visit www.hamellydon.com.
