Peter Michael Yarr , Jr.

PETER MICHAEL YARR, JR, 75, passed away in his sleep April 7, 2023 (Good Friday), at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston MA. He was suffering from lymphoma and COVID complications.

Born to Peter and Frances Yarr (both deceased) on June 19, 1947 in Washington DC, originally the family name was Yarsulik. Peter was known to his family as Michael. He served in the Air Force, worked at AT&T, and was a maitre d' at The Democratic Club in Washington DC and The Outrigger Club in Honolulu.

Peter was preceded by his sister Martha Yarr Mattox of Disputanta VA, and is survived by his sister, Kathryn (Steven) Friedberg of Winona Lake IN, his brother Thomas (Patti) Yarr of Charlotte NC, niece Elaine (David Donze) Friedberg, of Sawyer MI, nephew Benjamin (Brooke) Friedberg and their children, Grace, Avery, Nathaniel, and Dennis of Winona Lake IN.

Graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday May 23, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw IN.
