Randy Charles Feetham, age 44, of Quincy, Massachusetts, passed away on June 22, 2025 with his family by his side after a long battle in the hospital.
Randy was born on March 24, 1981 at Saint Margaret’s Hospital to Kevin and June (Shields) Feetham. He was raised in the Squantum neighborhood of Quincy and attended Sacred Heart School for grade school, and was a 1999 graduate of North Quincy High School. Following high school he worked many years for the MBTA as a train operator, and took great pride in the relationships and friends formed throughout his career.
Randy, like his parents, had a deep love for sports, especially golf. Early in his life he was an avid baseball player with a great arm; a feared pitcher who threw fast, but unfortunately with very little control. He continued to play baseball after high school in the Yawkey league as a member of the Hyde Park Kings. His interest in golf replaced baseball and he shared many memories with family and friends out on the golf course; many of which were at the local course, President’s Golf Course, or tournaments for several charity or work events.
He will be remembered most for his way of impacting people with his infectious personality, his knack for having the perfect nickname for someone (mostly unflattering) that would eventually stick as their life-long nickname. He had a heart full of compassion, a quick wit, and a smile that could light up a room. Though his path took unexpected turns and he faced personal challenges that distanced him from the life he once held, Randy never lost the spark that made him unique. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
He is survived by his son, Sean Feetham, of Milton, his mother June (Shields) Feetham of Quincy, brother Michael Feetham and his wife Lauren (Struzik) Feetham, nephew Cameron Feetham of Quincy, and family and friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his Father Kevin Charles Feetham. We will miss Randy, but we have comfort knowing he is back with his Dad. Until we meet again, love you Randy.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, a private service will be arranged in the near future. Details on service to be provided at a later date.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the medical staff of Boston Medical center for their support during Randy’s lengthy hospital admission.
