On Sunday, August 8, 2021, Sally Ann Houghton, loving mother of four boys, passed away peacefully at the age of 86 in Sudbury, MA.

Sally was born on March 12, 1935 in Medford MA, to Irish immigrants, William and Sally (Quigley) Houghton.  She was the proud mother of Peter, David, John, and Daniel Wilson.   Sally lived in and around the Boston area her entire life. She began her career working many years at AT&T.   Later in life, she graduated from Cambridge College with a degree in substance abuse counseling and dedicated the rest of her professional career to helping others in recovery. She was a proud sponsor and member of AA for 45 consecutive years. Known for her dry sense of humor, Sally loved politics, her Irish heritage, the Red Sox, Howie Carr, shopping, getting her hair done, and horoscopes.  She was a Pisces who adored her cats.  

Sally was preceded in death by her father, William, her mother, Sally, and her brother James Houghton.  She is survived by her brother John Houghton of Woburn, MA and Sister Mary Houghton of Somerville, MA.  Sally is also survived by her children:  Peter Wilson and his wife Katie of Sudbury, MA; her son David Wilson of Ayer, MA; her son John Wilson of Chelmsford, MA; and her son Daniel Wilson and his wife, Jennifer of Westford, MA.   She is survived by her grandchildren, Lucy, Adeline, Kaitlin, Kevin, Collin, Daniel, Jack, Drew, Alex, John, Benjamin, and Skylar and several nieces and nephews.
