Steven Hall Abbot

Steven Hall Abbot, 72, of Quincy, passed away at home on May 4, 2023.

“Stevie” leaves his best friends, Lynne Rose and Art Yacobian of Quincy, his Brother David Abbot and his wife Virginia, their children and grandchildren also the staff of Work, Inc., who cared loving for him for 40 years.  He was predeceased by his sister Carolyn Brogan.

He was an enthusiastic member of United First Parish Church in Quincy and enjoyed being part of the annual Christmas tableau and giving his own brand of sermon at the lectern before Sunday services began.

He loved adventures and was up to try anything. He frequently traveled to Las Vegas, where gambling, watching show girls and seeing celebrities were some of his favorite activities. He was a big Elvis fan and loved the magicians Siegfried and Roy. He never met a microphone he didn’t like, and he particularly liked singing karaoke with the drag queens in Provincetown.

He made friends wherever he went and will be sorely missed.
