Suzanne (Miller) Bjork, 77, of Quincy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2026.
Born and raised in Quincy, Suzanne was strong, hardworking, and endlessly devoted to the people she loved.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband and lifelong "partner in crime", Thomas A. Bjork, with whom she shared a marriage of 53 years. She was also predeceased by her parents, George E. and Loretta Miller, and her brothers George W. Miller (and his wife Linda), Fred Miller, and Paul Miller. Suzanne is survived by her loving sister Karen Miller and husband Ray Bergeron, her sister‑in‑law Diane Miller (wife of the late Fred Miller), her daughter Suzanne Murray, her son Thomas A. Bjork Jr. and wife Donna, and her cherished grandchildren Allan Bjork, Jeremy Bjork, Tyler Murray, and Sara Murray, all of whom brought her immeasurable joy.
A woman with a lifelong calling to care for others, Suzanne began her working years as an Information Operator at New England Telephone. She later served as a nurse’s aide at Quincy Nursing Home, a Customer Service Supervisor at Minuteman Transit, and a Personnel Clerk at Cumberland Farms, Inc., returning later in her life to the work that fulfilled her most - providing compassionate care and support as a home health aide until her retirement. Whether caring for family members or clients who quickly became like family, Suzanne gave her time, her energy, and her heart without hesitation.
Outside of work, Suzanne embraced the simple joys that made her happiest. She and Tom loved competing in cribbage tournaments together, she found peace and therapy in gardening, treasured every moment spent with her four grandchildren, and she never passed up the fun of trying her luck at casino poker machines.
Suzanne will be remembered for her kindness, her humor, her fierce loyalty, and her unwavering dedication to those she loved. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched—with compassion, with generosity, and with a heart that never stopped giving.
Relatives and friends are invited to memorial visiting hours on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 3:00pm - 5:00 pm at the Hamel-Lydon Chapel, 650 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02170.
