Thomas McGough Obituary

Thomas J P McGough, 67, of Boston formerly of Quincy and Winthrop, died April 29, 2023.

A highly talented Irish Step Dancer, Thomas competed with Rita O’Shea’s Irish Dance School in Irish Step Dance, winning many competitions as a teenager.

Tommy was predeceased by his dad Thomas J P McGough, Brother Timothy Myles, his sister Brianna and his long-time partner, Michael Hoyt. He is survived by his mother, June McGough, Brothers James Patrick McGough, Sean McGough, and Joseph Dedam. He is also survived by his sisters Gloria Colon and husband Tony, Eileen Burr and husband Mark, Pauley Sanipass and Nora Butler.

Thomas was an avid gardening and could make anything grown. He was a communicant of the world.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at St. Marks Church, 1725 Dorchester Ave, Boston, at 11am.
