William Leo DiCeglie, 49, of Manchester NH, formerly of Weymouth, died unexpectedly following a brief illness at his home on Monday, February 17, 2025.
Born in Quincy, William was raised in Weymouth where he attended local schools and played football on the Weymouth High football team. He graduated Weymouth High School in 1993 before attending Bridgewater State College.
He worked for a time at Jordan’s Furniture in Avon before moving to Visalia, California. He eventually returned to the East coast, settling in Manchester, New Hampshire and worked for True Green landscaping in their sales department.
William thoroughly enjoyed football and was a devoted Patriots fan. He also loved watching NASCAR racing.
Father of Nathan DiCeglie of Citrus Heights, California. Son of Diane (Ericson) DiCeglie of Abington and the late Leo A. DiCeglie, Jr. Brother of Amy Kelley and her husband Brian of Hanover. Uncle of Allison and Kaitlyn Kelley of Hanover. Nephew of Nancy Healy of Quincy, Nicholas DiCeglie, Sr. and his wife Peggy of Medford, and Ben DiCeglie of Watertown. Also survived by cousins, extended family and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend his memorial visitation at Hamel-Lydon Chapel, 650 Hancock St, Quincy, on Tuesday March 4, 2025 from 11:00am until 12:00noon. Memorial service to begin at 12:00noon. Private interment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy, at a later date.
