William H. Leung 梁北岳, 69, of Brookline, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of January 17, 2026, at Boston Medical Center–Brighton.
William was born and raised in Brookline, Massachusetts. From an early age, he helped in his parents’ business, Jing Kee Bean Sprout Company, located on Harrison Avenue in Boston’s Chinatown. A meaningful pastime and lifelong passion for William was his involvement with the Wah Lum Kung Fu Academy. He proudly performed traditional Chinese lion dances during Lunar New Year celebrations throughout Boston’s Chinatown and surrounding communities.
William will be remembered for his kindness and generosity of spirit. He genuinely enjoyed helping others and had an easy, natural ability to connect with people, making friends wherever he went.
He was the devoted husband of Lisa Li of Brookline. Cherished father of Dovev Leung Levine and his wife Jannell of New Hampshire, and Michelle Li and her husband Timothy Sturtevant of California. Proud grandfather of Theo Levine and Max Levine. Beloved brother of Carolyn Eng and her husband Norbert Eng, John Leung, Richard Leung and his wife Lai Ha Yee Leung, Robert Leung and his wife Stella Chin Leung, and Marilyn Yong and her late husband Kenneth Yong. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 9:30am to 11:00am at Tirrell Room (安泰大礼堂), 254 Quarry Street, Quincy. The funeral program and casket closing ceremonies will begin at 11:00am, followed by a funeral procession to Boston Chinatown and William's home in Brookline before proceeding to Forest Hills Crematory in Boston.
