William J. O'Neill

William J. O’Neill, 65, of Quincy passed away Sunday July 24, 2022.

Husband of the late Alice F. (Welch) O’Neill. He is survived by his sons William Jr., of Braintree, Patrick and Stephen O’Neill both of Brockton. His brothers Michael of SC, Daniel of E. Falmouth, Jack of Truro, Mark of Fall River and Brian of Sandwich. Sisters Linda Ginn of Mashpee, Katie Bent of Kensington, NH and Nancy Buchenan of Sandwich. Also survived by his grandchildren Madison, William, Aiden, Kaley, Maeve and the late Liam. 

Bill was a former employee of the City of Quincy Housing Authority for 30 years. He was an avid sports fan for all Boston Sports Teams.  

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at Hamel Lydon Chapel 650 Hancock Street Quincy 02170 on Thursday July 28 from 4-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday July 29 at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church 386 Hancock Street Quincy 02171. Burial to follow at Milton Cemetery.
