William A. Stavros

William A. Stavros, 72,  of Florida, formerly of Quincy & Worcester, passed away January 11, 2020.

Bill is survived by his five children William Stavros of Bridgewater MA, James Stavros of Bridgewater MA, Justin Stavros of Cape Coral, FL Rachel Dunn and her husband Bryan of Quincy and Ryan Stavros of Quincy MA. Also survived by his 10 grandchildren Patrick, Mason, Summer, Aubree, Adrianna, Jace, Jackson, Charlie, Henry & Max. Son of the late Arthur and Helen (Cosenza) Stavros. Brother of Demo and Arthur Stavros.  

He was a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Air Force.  Bill grew up in Worcester where he started his career in the food industry at his family’s White House restaurant.  Bill later went on to work as food service director at Quincy Hospital for many years. In Bill’s later years he enjoyed travel, fishing, & adventure around the country.  He will be missed for his laugh & enjoyment of life. 

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held February 9, 1-5 at the Quincy Yacht Club, 1310 Sea St. Quincy, MA 02169.

Funeral & burial services will be held privately in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
