Zachary “Zack” Kneeland, of Plymouth, passed away January 21, 2025 at the age of 32.
Born January 14, 1993, he was a loving and supportive brother, son, cousin, and friend to many.
Zack excelled in the high-intensity atmosphere of the kitchens he worked in much of his adult life, and he was most creative experimenting with different ingredients and recipes to feed his friends and family over the years. Whether at K’Katies, Speedwell, Goat City Pub or anywhere in between, Zack had a place at the table.
Zack is remembered best through his unique and clever sense of humor. His quick-wit and obscure perspective were some of his most treasured qualities.
Though he struggled in front of and behind closed doors with personal battles, Zack always made sure to end phone calls with “Love you”, and you knew you’d be hearing from him again soon to check in. He cared deeply for those around him, and in his final months he made strides to ensure those he loved knew he was present and hopeful about a new phase of life. Zack was kind and strong, dark-humored and witty, and his absence will be felt as intensely as his presence once was.
He leaves behind his loving family; George, Jordan, Ben, Richie, Autumn, Mikey, and a vast expanse of extended and chosen friends and family. His support system expanded and adapted as his journey through life progressed, and there are no words to express the gratitude his family expresses towards anyone who took even just a moment to share with Zack.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association in memory of Zack and his mother, Judy, who passed when Zack was young, and whom he loved and missed all his life. May he finally rest peacefully reunited with her.
